- The radiation oncologist will perform a digital rectal exam (DRE).
- After reviewing your prostate specific antigen (PSA), biopsy report, rectal exam findings and medical history, the radiation oncologist will discuss his recommendations for treatment.
- If the decision is made by you and the radiation oncologist to proceed, an appointment will be made for your prostate volume study.
In addition, bring your insurance cards and referral forms to this initial visit. Family members are welcome to accompany you. If at any point after your visit to Chicago Prostate Cancer Center you have additional questions, please call to speak to one of our staff members.

“This was a very impressive experience – the entire staff from the time we walked in till we left were first class. It is evident that they all like what they are doing and the center itself is very well thought out. I thank you for the care you gave me and I am confident that I will be cancer free by the end of the year.”
