Dear Dr. Moran,
I wanted to take a moment and say thank you for all that you have done for me. The phrase “thank you” doesn’t adequately describe my thoughts. In reality, you saved my life. How does one say thank you for that?
When I first got my cancer diagnosis I went through many stages of shock, disbelief, confusion, and fear. I had visited other Doctors and was treated as just another “number” who did not really matter. Thank God that I made an appointment to see you. Everything changed after that.
You took the time to talk to me, talk to my family, and explain treatment. You treated me as an individual who mattered and that gave me the most important gift of all: HOPE.
After my meeting with you, my attitude toward cancer changed. For the first time I felt that I would win this battle, and that is because of you and everyone at Chicago Prostate Center.
Thank you again for being my Doctor and for giving so selflessly to me as a patient. God bless you, Dr. Moran.
